Buckskin Basics $40 (must prepay on website at https://mixedblood.info/crafts.htm) includes materials; presented by Grandfather Rick McBride. You will make a simple project, such as a medicine bag. The objective of this workshop is to teach you basic stitching techniques and how to design, make a template, then cut your pattern from buckskin. The example shown here is a medicine bag. After learning the basics, you will know how to design and create a quality piece that will last for years. And buckskin is always a hit as a gift. The tools you need will be provided; after using them, you will have a better idea of what tools you might want for your own craft box. The tuition fee for this workshop is $40 (must now prepay) and includes materials.
