Dupuis Loop 4 Beginner Backpacking Trip
January 20th-21st (Saturday-Sunday)
Arrival 8:00 AM
Hike Begins 9:00 AM
Public/ Strenuous
Activity Leaders: Ryan Lusk
Miles per day about 8. Total of about 16 miles.

Welcome back to Dupuis for the original beginner trip to loop 4 campsite.
This a GROUP event. We as FTA Activity Leaders feel a certain level of responsibility for the ENTIRE Group. We will hike as a group for this event. This is a beginner/ intermediate level backpacking event. Our hope is to allow you to test your gear and learn from us on the basics of backpacking. If you have any questions, please contact us beforehand so we can assist you.

Small game hunting is still going on this weekend so it is a good idea to wear bright clothing.

The hike will begin at 9:00 AM Saturday January 20th and will end as we exit on Sunday the 21st. For all who sign up everyone should expect to arrive at the Governors House pavilion by 8:00 AM. There is no entry fee into the park.
Both days total miles will be about 16 miles. 8 miles per day. You may want to test yourself before coming to a trip like this with a backpack loaded with gear. Hiking with a backpack/ gear is very different than a stroll through a park.
We usually find a restaurant to eat at after the trip on Sunday. I will come up with some options but feel free to put some options on the table.
There is NO water drop for this location. You will need to filter water.
Any donations to the Chapter would be appreciated.
