Monthly Chapter Meeting – Okeeheelee Park Nature Center

Monthly Chapter Meeting. Social with refreshments at 6:00 p.m. followed by the program and chapter business at 6:30.

We recently completed the refurbishment of the Cypress Creek bridge. I learned from Bea that before the bridge was there, you had to cross the creek on an old tree log.
We will be showing the pictures of the Cypress Creek bridge being built and the original old tree log crossing. I look forward to hearing from everyone that was there that original day in February 2007.

We are supposed to have a guest speaker, Ryan Kolenich that wants to be on the FTA board of directors. Let’s welcome him to the meeting and find out his goals for the FTA.

We meet in the Nature Center. Follow the signs for the Nature Center all the way to the back of this huge park. Please remember to bring fruit and veggies for the animal residents. I will try to have an updated list posted of what is preferred.
