Jupiter Lighthouse/Blowing Rock – Double Header!

Join Paul for a double header! Meet and be ready to begin your exploration at 7:20 a.m. at the Lighthouse. And then about 9:00 you’ll go for a short ride to Coral Cove Park and walk the beach to Blowing Rocks and back!

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstand Natural Area (ONA) is home to a remarkable array of natural and cultural resources including four sensitive habitats, 26 special status species, and an archaeological record providing evidence of human occupation dating back over 5,000 years. The ONA was designated by congress in 2008 for the preservation, protection and enhancement of seven key resources and values found on the site; these include the remarkable biodiversity and rich history of the site. The site is the only unit of the National Conservation Lands east of the Mississippi River, and the only unit managed by the BLM’s Eastern States.
