Let’s go kayaking/paddleboarding

Please read all before signing up. Whether you prefer kayaking or paddleboarding, let’s spend a few hours together on the water. Low tide is predicted at 6:47am and high tide at 12:39pm. For those of us bringing our own kayak/paddleboard let’s meet at the public launch site at 9:30 and be ready to be on the water by 10. For those renting you might want to arrive at 9:30 to be on the water by 10. Those of us bringing our own kayak/paddleboard will paddle over and meet those renting.
You must have with you a PFD and a whistle. Plenty of water to stay hydrated and a snack and sunscreen. Weather permitting we will paddle over to Munyon Island. If the winds are high we will stay in the estuary. I will check the parks website for wind conditions and warnings before heading to the park.
If you do not have a Florida State Park Pass, the entrance fee is $4 single and $5 per vehicle up to 8 people. If you are renting, you can find the rates on their website.
This is a paddle at your own risk. Myself and FTA take no responsibility. Only sign up for this activity if you are experienced on the water.
