Celebrate Armed Forces Day with a Journey Through History

Join us this Armed Forces Day at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum to honor the valor and dedication of our military forces. Immerse yourself in a day filled with history and heroism through our special events designed to enlighten and inspire. 

Start your day at 11 a.m. with an engaging presentation by Josh Liller, LRHS Historian, exploring the pivotal roles played by the U.S. Coast Guard in local and national history, from WWII to the present day. Then, join our docent-led “Five Flags Over Jupiter” tours at 12 and 2 p.m., where you’ll uncover the diverse military heritage of Jupiter, including the site’s strategic importance, the Army’s Fort Jupiter Military Reservation, Station J’s secretive WWII operations, and the ongoing legacy of the Coast Guard.
