## Details
Guaranteed to be a wet ‘n wild hike with some slightly wet and muddy trails.
We’ll be hiking approximately 5-6 miles round trip, reaching the Ocean to Lake Trail and hiking through the Loxahatchee Slough for a bit, stopping at the observation tower for a short break. We’ll also hike around the small lake near the parking lot, time and weather permitting. The trail has minimal shade, so a hat and plenty of water is a must! No water, no hike! So be prepared!
**NOTE:** This hike will be strenuous and likely the trail will be slightly wet, muddy and overgrown due to the recent rains. If you don’t want to get your shoes wet and/or muddy, this hike is not for you.
Let’s meet at 6:30 a.m. at the Loxahatchee Slough Natural Area parking lot. We will start hiking no later than 6:45 a.m. Please be considerate and arrive on time.
Trailhead: 26.85291, -80.21533
