Backpacking the Suwannee – advanced

Join Brynn and Ryan on a backpacking adventure on the Florida Trail along the Suwannee River! You will carpool up on the 12th and drop some cars for shuttling at Suwannee River State Park before camping at a primitive site at Spirit of the Suwannee. During the next 3 days you will cover about 33 miles. The longest day will be about 14 miles. The shortest, 6 miles, will be the last (15th) and you’ll then pick up cars and head back home. This is not for the inexperienced.

Costs associated:
You will be responsible for paying for your campsite at Spirit of the Suwannee friday. ($40- 2 tents allowed per site, can coordinate with someone to share)
*Cars are $10/car/night to wait for us in the parks at both ends. This cost will be divided between all attendees. Gas cost split among carpool riders.

If you are wondering what you need to bring for this hike, this advanced trip is not for you.
