Blues/Rock Concert Comes to Lake Worth

Coming to Rudy’s Pub/Bamboo room on The Patio Garden Stage, a special blues/rock concert and event! Two of blues rocks hottest artist The Damon Fowler Band and The Alex Lopez Xpress Saturday June 1st starting at 7PM – get ready to rock the blues and enjoy a night to remember.

2 Amazing Blues/rock/roots artists – on 1 stage, 1 Great show > Featuring: Tampa’s Damon Fowler, a masterful singer, guitar player and songwriter, has absorbed the best of and furthered the work of the region’s definitive artists. A hard driving troubadour, his music is steeped with soul and representative of the many styles that make up the roots of American music. He has gained the respect of his peers given his featured slot in Butch Truck’s Freight Train band and his side gig as guitarist in the Dickey Betts Band. Critics have compared Fowler’s guitar work to Johnny Winter and Jeff Beck, while his slide guitar is reminiscent of the late Duane Allman. Fowler can play fiery guitar runs with the best of them, and his lyrical work on lap steel and dobro makes him a stand out performer among the legions of guitar heroes.

And with The Alex Lopez Xpress: The soul of a singer/songwriter combines with the emotion of blues and the power of rock” – Alex Lopez is an acclaimed guitarist, prolific songwriter and emerging artist recognized for his electrifying live performances. Critics have said he is “capable of revitalizing the blues for a new generation” and he is quickly taking the blues/rock scene by storm. Blues/rock recording artist Alex Lopez and his band The Xpress bring their special brand of British infused blues to Southeast Florida. Mixing blues, rock, pop, and even funk, Alex and his band create a blues sound that is uniquely mesmerizing within a framework of melodic memorable songs. The band will perform songs from his new released album “Looking for a change” and his top ten Billboard charting album “Rising up” and 5 other albums, along with a some blues classics and a few surprises. Alex and his band will blend contemporary blues with a high-energy performance to deliver a show/night to remember.

Rudy’s Pub (and now with The Bamboo room) was born on February 14th, 2011 named after a wild red cardinal. It’s a special place full of love, good will, creative people, great food and wonderful live music. And with the recent expansion of The Bamboo room AND the Patio Garden stage, there it has become West Palm’s home for amazing great live music.
