Classic Loxahatchee Slough Hike on the OTLHT – 10+ Miles (Small Group)

Let’s do a ***Small Group hike*** on the ***Classic Loxahatchee Slough*** route, we will hike at ***a moderate pace*** to the ***Campsite***, where we will take our main break to cool down and have a snack. After the break, we will hike back to our cars.

Let’s meet at 6:30AM at the ***Sweetbay Natural Area Parking Lot (GPS 26.8575, -80.23489).*** We will start hiking no later than 6:45AM. We will hike rain or shine.

The hike will around 10-Mile, so bring plenty of water (3-Liters), snacks, etc. to hold you over for the hike. ***We will be hiking in water, mud for a good portion of the hike, and could encounter overgrown vegetation.***

***Please Note That Our Meeting Location is at the Sweetbay Natural Area Parking Lot and NOT at the Loxahatchee Slough Parking lot.*** *We will be crossing the Beeline (SR-710) to get to the trailhead from the parking area.*

***You must stay with the group for the whole hike, so make sure you can do the full 10+ miles.***
