Forgiveness: Finding the Gift class

February 28, 2026 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

This class is led by Rick McBride. PREPAYMENT REQUIRED ($75): Zelle 954-270-8939 (preferred) or [https://paypal.me/iwt2016](https://paypal.me/iwt2016)

If, after living this life, you have to come back to the Earth again, at what point would you like your next life to begin? Where you are now? Or where you could be if you conquered the obstacles that have held you back?
More importantly, is it possible your life could be significantly better now if you solved some of the past issues that have directed it away from where you want to be, or could be?

**FORGIVENESS IS MORE ABOUT YOUR FUTURE THAN YOUR PAST.**

Truth is, it’s ALL about your future. The loss of Life energy in maintaining a hurt or a grudge, especially over a long period of time, is staggering. Especially as the really tough experiences often have some level of trauma associated with them. Over time, we build what are known as “trauma networks,” which eventually blurr the events, making it harder to escape their influence. Yet most people are unaware of how corrosive and far reaching the long term effects of “hangin’ on” to the past really are.
So, what is it to forgive? Is it even possible to really do it on the deepest emotional level where it has to happen to do any good? Most approaches to forgiveness are actually confrontational in nature, requiring an almost inhuman will and god-like consciousness to accomplish. But is this realistic? And is the effort worth the benefits?
In this workshop you will learn uncomplicated techniques that can actually recast your thoughts and feelings about past difficulties. And these are yours; once you learn them you won’t need the counsel of anyone else, unless you choose it.
These are spiritual techniques, not psychotherapy.
Because of the nature of this work, and because every participant will get the opportunity to work on a real issue, I must limit class size. Also, what happens in this workshop, stays in this workshop.

Rick McBride is mixedblood Ani’yunwi’ya (Cherokee) who has walked the Red Road for 40 years. He was named Cante Lute (Schan-tay Lou-tuh) by the spirits through his sundance chief, which means Red Heart. He is a Sundancer who has completed 19 Sundances and has been traditionally trained and authorized to lead ceremonies, such as inipi (purification lodge), prayer with the Canunpah (Pipe), drum healing and so forth.
