We will ride approximately 65 miles in 2 days.

Day 1) We will meet and camp at Torry Island campground in Belle Glade.

Day2) We will get an early morning start and ride approximately 23 miles to the Clewiston Museum. They are normally closed on Saturday but will open for our group. Group rate is $5 per person. After the museum we will have lunch in Clewiston. The Sugar Cane Festival will be going on Saturday. We can check out the festival if everyone wants to. We do have a 10 mile ride to our destination in Morehaven where we will primitive camp on Lake Okeechobee.

Day3) we will ride the 33 miles back to Torry Island where our vehicles are parked.

I have a group reservation that includes 8 primitive sites together. Each site is $25 a night. We are allowed to have 2 tents per site. I am posting for 12 people to join this event so we will have to share sites. If you have an RV and want to bring it, call the campground directly to rent a site. Contact info is 561-996-6322.

Torry Island Campground has advised me each person can pay when they arrive so I will not be collecting money. You will need money for your campsite, the Clewiston museum and lunch in Clewiston.
Kate has agreed to carry our gear again this year. She will meet us at Torry Island Saturday morning. She will deliver our gear to our primitive campsite in Morehaven. She will meet us Sunday morning and transport our gear back to Torry Island. She has room for everyone to have a backpack/suitcase.
What you need to bring:
Bike, spare tube
Small tent
Sleeping bag
Sleeping pad
Food and water
You will have the option to buy food in Clewiston
Toiletries
Clean clothes
Bug spray
Sunscreen

Average speed 10-12 mph
If the wind is working against us, it can be quite strenuous
