Grassy Island MTB Trail 8 to 9 Miles (Small Group)

Let’s do a ***Small Group hike*** on the ***Grassy Island Mountain Bike Trail***, we will hike at ***a moderate pace***. The hike we be primarily on a ***bike trail***, with a ***good portion under shade and lots of roots***. We will limit the number of people, since we will be sharing the trail with the cyclist.

Let’s meet at 7:00AM at the ***Grassy Island MTB Parking Lot (GPS 27.312482, -80.848456).*** We will start hiking no later than 7:15AM.

The hike will be between 8 and 9 Miles, so bring plenty of water (3-Liters), snacks, etc. to hold you over for the hike.

*****Please note that we will encounter some cattle on our way to the actual trail head from the parking lot area, and may see some while on the hike. If you are afraid of loose cattle, this hike is not for you.******
