Hal Scott Regional Preserve and Park, 17+ Miles Hike

**THIS HIKE IS ONLY FOR EXPERIENCED HIKERS**, that have been hiking 10+ miles on a regular basis. It is going to be ***physically challenging,*** but a lot of fun too.

We will hike at a moderate pace on the White, Yellow, and Red Trail to make a loop for a total distance of 17+ miles.

**Let’s meet at 8:00AM** at the Hal Scott Parking area off Dallas Boulevard ***(28.48625, -81.09551)***. We will start hiking no later than **8:15AM.**

The hike will around 17+ Miles of strenuous difficulty, so you know what to bring, plenty of water, snacks, etc. to hold you over for a day hike.

***Please keep in mind that the trails are mostly in the open, with very little shade. Expect to encounter mud, standing water and overgrown vegetation on this hike.***

**HOW TO GET THERE:**

From southeast Florida, take I-95 north to FL-520W (exit 201).
Continue on FL-520W for 20 miles.
Turn Left on Maxim Pkwy and then turn left on Bancroft Blvd.
Turn Right on Meredith Pkwy and then left on Dallas Blvd.
Continue on Dallas Blvd for 1.5 miles. The Hal Scott entrance will be on the right.
