**THIS HIKE IS ONLY FOR EXPERIENCED HIKERS**, that have been hiking 10+ miles on a regular basis. It is going to be ***physically challenging,*** but a lot of fun too.
We will hike at a ***moderate pace*** on the Florida Trail, White Trail and Connector trail to complete a loop of about 13-miles at the Charles H. Bronson State Forest, and an additional 6-miles at the Orlando Wetlands Park for a total of 19-miles. ***There will be an option for a shorter 8.3-mile and/or 16.6-mile hike.***
**Let’s meet at 7:00AM** at the Florida Trail Phillips Road/Joshua Creek Trailhead. We will start hiking no later than 7:15AM. Please keep in mind that the Charles H. Bronson State Forest is an active hunting area, so it is always a good idea to wear something bright. The optional Orlando Wetlands Park trails are mostly in the open, so plan accordingly with sun protection.
***Expect to encounter mud, standing water, overgrown vegetation on this hike.***
The hike will be 8.3-Miles, 16.6-Miles or 19-Miles of strenuous difficulty, so you know what to bring, plenty of water (3+ liters), snacks, etc. to hold you over for a long day hike.
**There is a day use fee of $2, which can be paid online at https://floridastateforests.reserveamerica.com/.**
