NC Mountain Trip to Maggie Valley, NC

Join Mark and Rod for an unforgettable motorcycle adventure as we ride up to the beautiful mountains of Maggie Valley! This epic trip spans 9 days: 2 days riding up, 2 days riding back, and a full Mon-Fri to explore the area and enjoy some of the best mountain roads in the country.

**Accommodations:**
We’ll be staying at the **Maggie Valley Creekside Lodge**, a clean, charming hotel located right in the heart of town. It’s walking distance to great restaurants and has jacuzzis in select rooms, as well as cozy fire pits out back – the perfect spot to relax and share stories after a full day of riding. For those who prefer, there are plenty of rental homes nearby as an alternative. If you’d like to stay at the lodge, let me know soon so we can secure group rates!

**Riding Skills Expected:**
This ride is for experienced riders. Mountain roads are thrilling but demand skill, focus, and stamina. Here’s what you’ll need to confidently enjoy the ride:

* Ability to handle long, all-day rides.
* Experience with winding mountain roads and “trail braking.”
* Comfortable executing U-turns without putting a foot down.
* Ability to maintain the posted speed limits (+5 mph) safely and consistently.

This isn’t a racing event, but mountain riding requires effort, precision, and attention, and if you’ve never been to the mountains, you need to know what to expect. Safety is our top priority, and we want everyone to have a fun and rewarding experience.

**What to Expect:**
We’ll tackle some of the most famous mountain roads, enjoying stunning views, thrilling curves, and fantastic riding. Depending on group size, we may split into **Performance** and **Sightseeing** groups to cater to different riding styles and preferences.
