DESCRIPTION:Join Paul for a double header! Meet and be ready to begin your exploration at 7:20 a.m. at the Lighthouse. And then about 9:00 you’ll go for a short ride (1.2 miles) to Coral Cove Park and walk the beach to Blowing Rocks and back! Of course it is about a mile to the rocks and if you are tired of sand you can take the sidewalk back to Coral Cove. \nAlso\, when you turn east off US1\, do not make the first right into the Lighthouse parking lot\, that’s the wrong place. Continue a short distance up the hill and you will see the Natural Area sign and dirt/gravel parking lot on your right. \nThe Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstand Natural Area (ONA) is home to a remarkable array of natural and cultural resources including four sensitive habitats\, 26 special status species\, and an archaeological record providing evidence of human occupation dating back over 5\,000 years. The ONA was designated by congress in 2008 for the preservation\, protection and enhancement of seven key resources and values found on the site; these include the remarkable biodiversity and rich history of the site.
