Building started in 1995 and ended in 2002, with most of the homes being built by CBS Construction. The smallest villas are about 1,200 square feet and have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The townhomes are in the middle in size with square footage around 1,500 square feet, and most are two-stories with three bedrooms. The single-family homes are either one or two-stories and the smallest have three bedrooms while the largest homes have five bedrooms. These estate homes range in size from 1,400 to 2,600 square feet. The homes, townhomes, and villas are divided into four different sub-developments. Estates at Oak Hamlet (198 estate homes), Carriage Brooke (111 single-family homes), Brighton (139 villas and townhomes), and Pelican Key (56 villas and townhomes).
Wellington’s Edge is known for its beautiful natural preserves and lakes – with most of the homes sitting on a lake or preserve lot.
